Pioneers of cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Freeman Vineyard and Winery has charted a course to the western edges of California winegrowing since 2001, helping to define a more balanced, sophisticated, and thoughtful style of winemaking.

Gather with fellow members of your SA community on May 7, 2023 to enjoy Freeman's wines, which are embraced by connoisseurs and collectors around the world. Your tasting will be accompanied by Chef Sagi's delectable Japanese street food. The possibilities abound, from the classic Japanese treat yakitori (chicken skewers that are grilled over charcoal) to the less well known, takoyaki (golden balls of fried batter filled with savory goodness). Expect to be surprised and delighted!

The location for your picnic could not be more inviting. Freeman’s picturesque winery in the Russian River Valley is set on a steep, redwood-covered hillside, surrounded by legendary Pinot Noir vineyards, including Freeman's 8-acre Gloria Estate Vineyard.

Your meal, perfectly accompanied by Freeman's acclaimed, limited-production Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and the warmth of your "SA family," will provide an experience to remember. Limited to 25 guests!
